Patient Information

Who will treat you?

Most patients are treated by a male physiotherapist, but a female physiotherapist is available for limited hours. Please speak to our receptionist regarding who you wish to see.

You may choose to be accompanied during treatment if you prefer.

What should you wear?

There may be a requirement for PARTIAL removal of clothing, shirts/tops and/or trousers, which is necessary in order to assess and treat the body correctly. It is therefore requested that patients come with this in mind.

Patients should wear modest underwear and/or sports shorts, which allow free movement of joints.

Please do not wear perfumes or aftershave. Some people are allergic to strong smelling cosmetics.

What techniques will be used?

Treatment may include exercise, manual therapy, electro therapy, acupuncture and related methods. Treatment will be selected specifically to treat your problem. A full explanation of the technique will be given before treatment starts.

You may refuse any treatment that you do not feel comfortable with.

Concerns and Complaints

If you have any concerns or complaints about any aspect of your treatment, please do speak with a member of our staff.

We aim to treat patients the way we would like to be treated ourselves.
